Mamata Banerjee's sudden u-turn over appointment spat has left the Congress in a lurch. After agreeing to back Congress to jointly oppose the TRAI bill, Mamata did just the opposite. Now Congress is completely isolated with no support in the Rajya Sabha as well. TRAI amendment bill will pave way for Nripendra Mishra's appointment as the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
