A commemoration ceremony has marked the 19th anniversary of Europe’s worst massacre since World War II.

Eight-thousand Muslim men and boys were executed July 11, 1995 when minority Serb forces overran the Bosnian town of Srebrenica.

The remains of more than 6,000 victims have been found in mass graves and identified using DNA technology.

The search continues for around 1,000 bodies believed to be still missing.

Every July 11, more are buried at a memorial centre near the town.
