As Turkish citizens prepare to vote in the presidential election for the first time, a rival to frontrunner and current Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has launched a ‘unity’ campaign.
Six parties are supporting Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu in his drive to gain votes in the August 10 election by drawing on Erdogan’s scandal-filled year.
