After sweeping the Lok Sabha elections and completing more than a month in power, the Modi government faces its first test as the Budget Session of Parliament begins today (July 7). With the Opposition readying its strategy to attack the government on a range of issue, a stormy maiden session appears to be on the cards. In a premptive move, the BJP has appealed to its political opponents to ensure smooth functioning of the house.
