Sources say the gunman ran up to little Kamiya and shot her in her right eye. He allegedly wanted to send a message to the girl's father before shooting him in the stomach. Also shot was Kamiya's cousin 13-year-old Chelsea Lancaster, who is still in critical condition.

Police arrested a suspect Wednesday morning and said they were seeking another.
A 26-year-old Inkster man faces charges including first-degree murder in connection to a shooting which killed a 2-year-old girl and injured two other people, one of which is a 12-year-old girl who is in critical condition.
Raymone Bernard Jackson is accused of shooting and killing 2-year-old Kamiya Gross about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 30000 block of Carlyle Street. It's alleged Jackson also shot Kamiya's father, 34-year-old Kenneth French, and 12-year-old Chelsea Lancaster, a friend of the family.
Jackson is charged with premeditated first-degree murder, torture, assault with intent to murder, felonious assault and felon in possession of a firearm. He was arraigned Thursday afternoon at Inkster's 22nd District Court. He was given no bond.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Lancaster is in critical condition while French is in stable condition.

UPDATE 2nd suspect arrested
Michigan State Police have arrested a second suspect in this shooting. As of Thursday evening, they were in the process of interviewing him.
