Paul Naschy (aka Jacinto Molina) reprises his most famous character, "El Hombre Lobo" and essays a double role in this tale of the wolfman's origin. The saga begins when Hungarian inquisitor Itineus Daninsky (Naschy) burns satanic Countess Elisabeth at the stake, but not before she lays the obligatory departing curse on his descendants. Well, THERE'S your problem! Centuries later, his descendant Waldemar (Naschy again) reawakens the curse with a little "help" from a gypsy witch. This can only end badly for ol' Waldemar--and for assorted victims of the werewolf.
