Jain monks wanted total ban on selling of eggs, non-veg food items and strict police action against illegal slaughter in entire Palitana town which is the supreme pilgrim place of Jain community. About 200 Jain monks and others sat on fast. Finally, the Indefinite fast agitation of Jain monks at Palitana ended.
