In a late night vote, Poland's politicians decide to keep their government.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk called for the vote of confidence after a series of embarrassing recordings involving senior officials within the Polish administration were leaked .
In one of them, Poland's foreign minister said British Prime Minister David Cameron's policy on Europe was either reckless or incompetent.
Speaking on Monday, Tusk said the recordings were an attempt to destabilise the country
(SOUNDBITE) (Polish) POLISH PRIME MINISTER DONALD TUSK, SAYING:
"This action probably does not aim to lower the reputation of the ruling party, instead it is an attempt to paralyse the ability of the Polish state to function at a rather key moment that is the breakthrough in Europe and the situation in Ukraine."
It is still unclear who might be behind the recordings.
