Queen Elizabeth stopped by the set of Game of Thrones during a recent trip to Belfast.

Located in Titanic Quarter, the hall that now houses the show was once used to paint ships made by Harland and Wolf, builders of the Titanic.

The HBO drama has filmed in Northern Ireland since 2009, and the Queen got a look at many of the handmade costumes and weapons used on the show throughout its history.

She also got up close to the show’s infamous throne, which, according to the storyline, is made from the swords of the vanquished.

The Queen was offered the opportunity to take a seat on it, but declined.

Before departing, Queen Elizabeth took a moment to chat with several members of the show’s cast.

Over the years, Game of Thrones filming has become an important part of the Belfast region’s economy, bringing nearly 140 million dollars into the area.

It’s created 57 hundred part-time jobs and 900 full-time ones in a place that has a population of less than 2 million.
