A helicopter carries the bones found by Panamanian search teams looking for two missing Dutch tourists.

Officials confirmed DNA from the bones matches one of the pair, Lissana Froon.

(SOUNDBITE)(Spanish) MEDICAL EXAMINER SILVIA BANDEL SAYING:

"One of these, effectively, was the remains of a bone consistent with that of a human foot. This foot was analysed and the DNA found on it is a match to that of the parents of young Lissana."

Twenty-two-year-old Froon and Kris Kremiers who's 21 went missing in April after setting out on a hike.

Earlier this month search teams found a backpack belonging to the women.

They were in Panama to study Spanish and were reported missing by their host families.
