LAHORE: Punjab former law minister, Rana Sanaullah Tuesday, expressing his trust in the judicial commission, said that he would personally appear before it, Geo News reported.
Talking to media here, Rana Sanaullah said that the Model Town tragedy was the result of mismanagement and later the situation arising thereby. Police and civil administration had gone there to remove the barriers and no decision was taken to hurt anybody, he said.
He said that his resignation has helped pave the way for holding a transparent enquiry by the judicial commission.
Rana Sanaullah said that the barriers should have been removed or not was a separate debate and the matter would be argued in the judicial commission. He said he has full faith in the judicial commission and would personally appear before it.
