Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said that events like Model Town tragedy don’t take place even under the dictatorship regimes, Dunya News reported.
“Gunshots were fired for hours, where was Chief Minister Punjab? Why hasn’t Shahbaz Sharif resigned yet?” he asked.
Khan alleged that Punjab police is being used as a Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) wing, claiming that police was used during elections as well.
Directing his questions to Shahbaz Sharif, he said that the whole country saw the events unfold on TV.
