Rockers Linkin Park picked up some valuable real estate on Wednesday (June 18). The Grammy-winning band was inducted into Guitar Center's RockWalk in Hollywood. The group, who's sixth studio album, "The Hunting Party" drops this week, added their hand prints to the likes of rock legends Eric Clapton, Aerosmith and Jimmy Page.

SOUNDBITE Chester Bennington, Linkin Park, saying:

"We want to thank our fans for supporting us through our career. We've taken a lot of left turns and they come along right with us. And so this is also a testament to them because we're only as great as our fans think we are."

Linkin Park launches their new tour on August 08, but Bennington said fans all over the world should get ready for concerts in their areas.

Linkin Park's debut album, "Hybrid Theory," was released in 2000 and became the best selling debut album of the decade. They've gone on to sell more than 60 million albums and have earned two Grammy awards.
