robert snively - The Tale

The deeper I get the harder I break
The closer I get the more they can take
The farther I am the less that they learn
The smaller I get the less that they burn
The better I get the less that I ache

I am gentle and humble
I smile when I grumble
I’m weak but I’m not
I’m cold then I’m hot
Just pull my trigger then watch you stumble

I cry at home and stand tall when I am seen
The stronger that I am the weaker that I seem
I watch behind a mask
As the zombies march by
In line, in order,
As the red flag fly’s
And those who stand up are shot down to die
those who conform are owned by one not there own
