A violent storm crashes against my window as a smile the reflection of the moonlight hits my forehead revealing the aging of my skin, the heavy tapping increases. Followed by a thud of anger in the air and a crash of light illuminating my front room, yet here I sit by the warmth of my fire, the flames flicker as we sit here in calamity
In the eye of the storm
You’re sat beside me now as you always are
My loyalist friend
I grasp your hand from fear of losing you in this confusing paradise
You look across the room 'I love you don't be scared'
And all of a sudden the storm
The violent sky
The roaring giants
No longer seem so scary
The crackling whispers are dampened by your love
And I fear no more
