Men see…when they look in the mirror
Grey hair, wrinkly face
replete with wisdom
So mature…so sage
Women see…when looking in the mirror
A pretty face
But with an ego that
Slowly diminishes with age
Women see…when they look in the mirror
Rearranging…
looks a-changing
Time wooshing past
Men see…when they look in the mirror
That same goofy face looking back from the glass
Doesn’t land a blow on a cast iron ego, because
Men just don’t give… a rat’s ass
