The glory days have passed,
And now the time has come to blend in,
Every dimension of my character never lasts,
And now I live the lifestyle of a Beduoin.
Searching for a place to exist,
Wherein criticism is always constructive,
Rather than this current hostile pit,
Of laughs, jeers, and self-destruction.
Not to feel so bitter and cold,
As the sunset wheel brings the dark,
But to have a partner to cherish and hold,
And a bright future ahead, not just a promising start.
The glory days have passed alas,
My character left tattered and torn,
Criticism remains hurtful and crass,
And retained emptiness at each dawn.
