Cooing, courting, marriage looks heaven’s bliss;
Honeymoon set, a kiss feels serpent’s hiss;
Fires cooling as ash Keynesian Law returns,
A three-year itch all over body churns,
But stoked and fuelled, a new passion burns,
Whilst they blame a villain—conjugal miss!

Divorces are on the rise by the day. The
proverbial seven-year itch seems to have now
narrowed to three years, says research.
Though the incidence is still low in India,
there has been perceptible rise in divorces
caused by a villain called incompatibility.
