Our feeble-frame biology
Won't let mankind relax:
We're drowning in technology;
We're overrun by apps.
Until we've got a gadget
For every household task
Which operates like magic,
The future's worse than black.
Our hope will quickly vanish
If we can't get enough.
How ever would we manage
Without such techie stuff?
Without new swish computers
To cope with life's fast pace,
Can there be any future
For all the human race?
If there were no technology
Perhaps there'd be less stress
And some reverse psychology
Might help clear up the mess.
For man has lived for centuries
Without such things about.
So surely, fundamentally
We might just do without.
And life would not be a circus,
But simple and such fun;
If only we could purchase
An app to get it done!
