Shadow Days
Cold In The Dark
Shallow Ways
Violence Sparks
On our way
To local store,
When someone sprays
And makes it pour
Pouring like metal rain
Swirvin through the lanes
The ages of 2-10
Is traumatic to say the least
An addict of a father
Watch him turn into a fiend
We've bared our eyes on scenes
We're aware by age 13
That it's make it by any means
MLK was never round the X.
Yet both were ideally taking the same test.
Never abbreviated on dotted lines
For that reason
Haven't You seen the result of violence enough?
Showin ya tuff
Like Snow In The Bluff
Niggas quick to play cards
No one's showin a bluff.
Patience and Confidence, A virtue
Carry those in life, and nobody will hurt you
What the f*ck is a curfew?
Established just to only cure few.
Yet, We have the power to save the world
Save a girl,
You save a mom.
You let her fold,
The world turns cold.
Shallow Days...
We've Been Getting Cold In The Dark.
