Postpone or defer
More or less the same
Does not matter
Our ways- Do come
Pleasures and displeasures
Sorrow and joy
Smiles and tears
Clasp or ignore them
See you morrow – or after
Well past a day
Springing forth another
So goes life everyday
Deferring something or other
And the time steals by
Transporting us to his door
He is an artist
Carefully distinct
Infallible and definite
Majestic and stately
Neither a friend nor an enemy
Towards the end of life’s journey
He does give us his kind company
Little known of haste or his sloth
Silences all with tip-toe stealth
And best known for fidelity
Therefore I am
Bowing down to his civility
For he does tell us time from eternity…………
