Sandra Regan - Sing Me Goodnight

2014-06-17 5

She looked forward to the nights.
Intuative notes, some dark, some light.
Now we sit and words flow true.
Gone to create our rhythm and blues.
Tonight I'll play my solo strings.
Ode to us and wild young things.
Must the moon come up so fast?
Evening lines have now been cast.
What happens now, what happens next?
I'll take this as one great life test.
Think of the midnight music we made
Hold onto dreams, they will not fade.
Outside thoughts from hearts within.
Unbroken vow versus utmost sin.
Tomorrow is yet another day.
Willing strings speak when words do fade.
Outtakes from a life like mine.
Riding melodies line by line.
Do we need to say goodnight?
She sings yes, turn off the light.
