Silence has always been my muse
as hours passed me by,
until the time stopped forever-
in your burning mind.
It was too late to call your name..
You almost took my life away
as you were drawn too close to me;
you almost had me for a while..
it must have been your charm,
your smile..Such mystery!
The last minute broke my silence,
as spikes thrown in frozen glass
a thought; the words were dying out
like the wilted roses from a vase!
I shall never ask you to come back
and leave your dusty road,
you had the chance to have it all
but you wasted it on the go!
