There's this robot
And then there's me
Who's to say who's more real?
Which one has not a heart?
What determines how we feel?
Inside the bot you will find
Nothing less then a brilliant mind
And a heart that was given
Clear for all to see
And I myself almost believed
That I built a better me
The robot thinks that having a heart feels good
Although it is often misunderstood
It speaks of what the mind dares not tell
Maybe it has learned it's lesson well
Feeling the emotions it longed to express
Has it brought more then stress?
Is it better to not have known the situation
Better to not feel the sorrow or any elation
If you want to know the answer
You will have to wait and see
You can go ahead and ask the robot...
But is the robot-- me? !
