Raise your glass and drink to your fill,
Here is to being young,
May we be trapped like this forever,
Lovely faces and no grey hair,
Being young is our greatest prayer.
Here's to never growing up,
Maybe we are meant to be like this,
To conquer and accomplish when are still kids,
Young enough to proclaim freedom and justice,
To forever having fun because we like it.
Another one for our parents,
They should stop mourning for us to get old,
I suppose we are still the same with good old manners,
They should stop giving us pens when we need colors,
Parents, we still mess up so we need rubbers.
Cheers to numbers called age,
Hope it remains the same till time ends,
Birthdays to celebrate how young we get,
Yes! Will forever be underage,
Now fill your glass and toast till it breaks,
Here is to being YOUNG and here's to being GREAT.
