A loneliness creeps in
Crowding my thoughts
Even busyness can't erase
Longing for too many things
Unfulfilled looking to the next
Activity to bring it closer
Than yesterday
Peering into the future
Does no good to alleviate
The anxiety
So I'll just move forward
Through time expecting
Change and wait quietly
To die.
