KAVIN CHARALAN - The Cuckoo Clock

2014-06-17 23

Cocks are there in country side
To give us wake up calls in mornings
In cities we have our alternatives
Cell phone alarms and land line rings
And the magnificent mech.bird called
The Cuckoo Clock

The cuckoo comes out spreading its wings
Sings the song of Six in the morning
With the sweet note of cuckoo's call
I wake up and get ready for my work

Once I forgot to put the battery on time
At six one morning the bird sank five
And stood there still with the wings spread
Peacefully and faithfully for a treaty

I blamed myself and my laziness
for not feeding the faithful creature
On time
From that day onward I never repeated the mistake
I always feed my best companion Mech.Bird on time
Sometimes when it calls it sounds like thank Q thank Q
I thanked the punctual bird for teaching me punctuality

One who has the Cuckoo Clock in his home
Is the Lucky guy in this world
