Nebu P Joseph - Those eyes

2014-06-17 10

I was very much happy on that-
Tuesday, it was holiday.
This happened on the way to my home,
From town, in bus no seat was left vacant.
Each and every stop some leaved and some entered.
And I got a seat near the door.
On whirling I saw a small lad,
Almost three or four years old.
Sitting on the lap of grandfather; may be.
The boy was very handsome; gorgeous cheeks;
Neatly sorted black hair and lips were like
Petals of rose.
The most attractive was his innocent eyes.
I could feel the presence of angels.

Abruptly my mind got troubled.
All malevolence faces came in front of my eyes.
It was getting time and I stepped out from bus.
And I can not feel the presence of any angels.
Now, I have only one prayer.
'Oh! My lord, please don't let them;
The evil's, to pollute those innocent eyes'.

Brother keeps this in mind-
Be careful on every step.
In our days the whole world is polluted.
If you are disposed and dyed-in-the-wool
You can transform and put away the world again.
