Abdul Wahab - The Destitute Night

2014-06-17 1

Long ago the sun has gone
Leaving a lingering reflection red
In shame the moon hides her face
Behind the cloak of darkness, all the
Creatures are in happy slumber deep
Only the stars and I am wide awake

They all stitch words in your praise
In glory and pride they offer at your feet
The beautiful flowers full of a blanket
But I make lei of tears to hang upon your breast
You have stunning beauty spread all over I see
But I have glorious darkness and golden despair
To offer you at this destitute night with glaring regret
