The wonder of it all, memories i recall, when I was young and ten feet tall.
There was no end in sight, future was bright, the page was up to me to write.
I look back to memories cast, I remember when I saw you last now distant past.
The last word's I heard you say, is son I will be ok, and I just smiled and walked away.
The value's you taught to me, are worth more than one can see, or even be.
All I can do is try, and never make you again cry, until I see you once more on high.
When i climb the golden ladder, and reach the here and after, see your smile and hear your laughter.
We will have to start another chapter, when we are together, where memories dont matter
