I saw a middle aged man of forty,
Standing near the parapet wall dirty!
Standing with one leg, the other leg missing,
Shouting repeatedly I am a beggar boy, begging!
Sorrow on the face whenever people seeing,
Otherwise his face was frequently smiling!
A few persons offered coins on the cloth spread,
One or two persons stopped for a while, inquired!
With curiosity one naughty boy asked the reason
For loss of one leg; what he will do during rainy season!
Another elderly person felt pity on him,
Asked what he will do if he gets pain!
The beggar said, ‘I will change the leg’ and showed,
The elderly person swooned seeing what he did!
