Living in a pigeonhole, human mind is crammed;
Surviving in a cubbyhole, human heart is jammed;
Pigging in a rabbit-hole, Human ideas are burned down;
inhabiting in a cavern-hole, human soul is whittled down;
Gloom-gloom, bloom-bloom, Humankind meets its doom!
Man is corroding fishes and collapsing fisheries,
Man is foundering forests; trees are dropping like flies,
Man is converting grass lands in barren grounds,
Man is transforming Croplands in buildings four,
Gloom-gloom, bloom-bloom, Humankind meets its doom!
Hello! Hello! One side nature is being exploited,
Shallow fellow! Another side nature has been polluted,
Swallow! Swallow! Forest, - power house of evolution,
It's under extinction, ye, a degraded devil with no ration,
Gloom-gloom, bloom-bloom, Humankind meets its doom!
Ozone protects earth from ultra violet rays and death,
Yet by polluting, it is being depleted by human wrath,
For his survival, ready to butcher 300 million species rare,
Man is clobbering biological systems four,
Gloom-gloom, bloom-bloom, Humankind meets its doom!
Thud! Thud! Thud! A cut, the human axe clatters!
Stop! Stop! Stop! A bark of a tree is bleeding with rhymes,
Wo! Wo! Wo! Man is butchering me without mercy, nature chatters,
Oh Bumbler, oh fumbler, Oh Slaughterer, tree is calling names!
Gloom-gloom, bloom-bloom, Humankind meets its doom!
Why are you rushing with 3 shifts?
Why don't you enjoy nature's gifts?
Why are you treading in the path which leads nowhere?
Calm down with a natural smile otherwise, hear somewhere!
Gloom-gloom, bloom-bloom, Humankind meets its doom!
Mate! Wallow in the beauty of the universe, thence
Relax and slow down a bit; maintain ecological balance
Fellow! Listen to the music of wind and be wise
Pal! Feel musky aroma of flowers; otherwise
Gloom-gloom, bloom-bloom, Humankind meets its doom!
