When I drove around,
I drove to nothing,
As many times I do.
For the charted trails,
And mapped out roads,
Are marked with too many knowns.
I would rather go to the unknown, driving in my car.
When I reach that nothing,
I know what to do.
I can imagine new rock formations,
And new waterfalls, that never existed,
On this jungle area of rock.
The challenge to form somewhere out of nowhere,
Gave me thrills.
I made swinging monkeys on trees,
And anything else I wanted.
So my nowhere turned into a somewhere,
And I drove the car home in great satisfaction,
Only the next day, driving off into another fun nowhere.
