i would like to pray
a silent prayer
like a river
in a peaceful forest
i like to pray
with nature around
as i see the sky
it makes me think
what He looks like
i like to pray
with folding hands
catching one quiet breath
and closing two eyes
i like to pray
a silent prayer
with sweet melody
asking God to answer
oh! how glad i will be
if this prayer will come!
i would like to tell God
for peace and unity
to govern nations
with great humility
and loving a friend
who needs comfort
when tears flood
but with someone hugging
i love to pray
to people around
seeking for happiness,
that they will be glad
in seeking real joy
to the poor in thoughts
that they may learn
and may wise people share
their crowns of intelligence
to the families
who need help-
i pray to God
help them to love
and feel beloved
that they may never be
tired of being together
with one faith
the world i wish
no hurricanes will happen
and storms will vanish away
to the needy
and the rich who need riches
to find real treasure
with peace and no discrimination
to save a little robin
from the rages of the storm
how lucky is this bird
to see its mommy again
to people loosing hope
they will be comforted
and will have enough strength
to face Your given obstacles
oh! how happy will i be
if all these begin!
oh Heavenly Father
begin it with me.
