Pop culture memorabilia to be auctioned at Christie's in London

Film and music memorabilia from pop and Hollywood royalty is set to go under the hammer at Christie's salesroom in London.

Outfits, instruments and film props dating back several decades comprise the 144 lots up for grabs in Christie's 'Pop Culture - Lasting Legacies' sale.

A key piece is a rare page of lyrics written by former Beatle John Lennon, which is expected to fetch $170,000-255,000 (USD) at auction.
