If i could have just one wish
If only for a day,
I would wish to see my loved ones
Who have sadly gone away.
I would greet them with open arms
And hold them tenderly,
And ask them why they had to go
And why they all left me.
I would ask if they were happy
In their new home up above.
I would ask if heaven is beautiful
And full of so much love.
I would ask if they will wait for me
Untill my life is through.
I would ask them, when i come to them
Could we start our lives anew.
