The time's we shared when we were young
Keep flashing through my mind.
They seem so very precious now
Since you left me behind.
The little things we used to do,
The games we used to play,
I remember all too clearly
As if it were yesturday.
If only i could bring you back,
If only for a day,
to say the thing's i never said
Before you went away.
I would say how much i love you Lin
And miss you with all my heart,
And how lonlely my life is now
Since we had to part.
We never actually said goodbye
It was to hard to do,
But i know you knew deep down inside
My heart was breaking in two.
Now you are at rest Lin,
Sleep quietly and wait,
Until my life is over
And we meet at heaven's gate.
