The eagles’ high rock cleft is shelter
To hide –to spring like carrier deck
Propelled machines into winds above
The sea winds from lower plains
Paranormal abundance grows into
Medicinal winds of weed and
Mushroom hospice gatherings
I know why the eagle nest so high
Freed the brood nest in neutral corners
The causal brooding impulse
Eagles flustered by songs of the young
Faith gained through suffering
If she would leave with winter
I know why the eagles nest so high
From advantage -higher-ups build
And above nests a shadow ridge
Porch protrudes to hide the sun’s
Reflected colors of melodic rhythms
The coded decks repulse the
Satellite eyes of perambulating moons

Ghosts above the plains and seas
But by the dark of their own shadows
Cast upon widows made in sympathy
With open sky –the fatherless brood
Waits to become the last imago and
Lonely idols -temptation comes with
Knowing she would leave with fall
I know why the eagles nest so high
But fear the dark in shadows cast
Upon widows and the fatherless
For they too shall perish together
Under the slain -no life is there worth
Worldly pleasures –she alone would
If he would come with autumn

Remain buried nested and dry
The last refused live to die
Go where we can fast these many days
Of power –she is restless it is summer
