Ellie Cook - Willows Weep

2014-06-16 6

Down the garden path I go like a child torn from sleep,
I seek the joy of yesteryear among the Willows Weep.
I peer among the tended beds of fellow, foe and friends,
And find myself alone again on a path that never ends.
Gone far and wide to seek for you down this garden path,
Not knowing you had never gone, that you’ll always be my past

You wake me now from this child’s sleep when I find you among the Willows Weep
With fond farewell to you I speak and bid goodbye to Willows Weep
