Roy Allen - Today... 'Advocate'

2014-06-16 1

Is there any who can be my Advocate? Job cried.
'Here I am send me, ' from heaven You replied.
The only one capable of such a task
You only could provide what Job did ask.

So You entered earth's history.
And lived life as life should be.
All the way to the cross You went.
Cried 'Father forgive' as Your life was spent.

For all of us were lost through disobedience
and so You went to the Father in our defence.
You are Christ the only Righteous One
and Your sacrifice for our sin will atone.

Now in heaven our Advocate stands
and points to His wounded feet and hands.
The price has now been paid in full
Christ our saviour is All in All.
