Kathryn Brookins - Turn my face

2014-06-16 6

I don't want to be here in society anymore,
my eyes are tired of being deceived and sore.
I want to walk in the natural of all things,
I want to be quiet and listen to the Earth sing.
I want to sit on a tree root and lean back in comfort,
enjoy lifes different assortments.
I want to get away from the sounds of traffic and planes,
get away from accusations and blames.
I want to be in the natural and find my sanity,
away from users, liers and vanity.
I want to turn my face from societys face,
run away to a hidden place.
Be alone with myself and enjoy the time,
where the only sounds are of natures and mine.
