Brandon Owens - Forest of The Unknown

2014-06-16 2

Everyone knows the way there
Rarely do any go in
They say that if you care
You'll just go around then
But if you're interested in discovery
Just follow the sounds of fear
And the way to all your needs
Will finally be clear
Avoid it if you're weak of heart
Because the growth is thick
Even from the start
You won't see the sun a lick
The howls of hungry beast
Fill every empty space
To them you're the meal
They all just want to taste
When you walk among the trees
There is no love for you
The lost are crying their tears
You see the trees don't want you through
They are there to protect the secrets
The world asks for but is afraid of
The answers are always bleakest
When they're not from above
I'll tell you many unwilling enter
However, without purpose
They never make it to the center
What happens to them no one knows
Why then do I suggest you go?
It's awfully nice to get your prize
When in paradise you build your home
There's only one way back
It's through the Forest of The Unknown
