A wild flower refuse to close her eyes,
For budding has denied her the beauty;
Of the open fields,
The vast mountains,
The caress of the winds,
The sight of the flirty butterflies,
And the courting bees.
The wild flower knows
That sleep is no prey,
For the precious moments,
Spent entertaining sleep,
Tricking her to keeping him company.
But in blooms she swears to see it all, and miss it not.
