desire rides in quickly
at times
seems to lead
or
delay
control or displace
the hunger inside
of our dimly lit
never-ending and
secret place
where a need
casts an arrow
into the heart
of the darkness
holding on
to
yourself
accepting a change
with questioning
why
and why is there
to replace
the chaos
that's breaking
the silence
confusing stubborn certainty
with meeting all requests
compliance without understanding
drowning in confusion
directing into current life
at an almost hidden degree
inertia
engulfed in a flame
close enough to burn
but not be seen
a system or cycle
abandoned
or hardened
with poetry and happiness
crying about what was taken
opening up to randomness
mentally noted
disagreement in your voice
ignorant of the irony
in finding
perfection
