Bryan Pegram - The Spider Awaits

2014-06-16 8

The entangling web a lie creates,
Unwound, your character is what it dictates.

It shows the world the person you hide,
Even though you think they don’t see you lied.

But if you trace the beginning of this tangled mess,
You will see the actions your lies transgress.

And when you smile in my face to disguise your lies,
Understand that your actions are very unwise.

Because for every web there is a spider,
And your lies just made you thee outsider.

This now defines you as the prey,
And puts everything you say in the area of grey.

The wolf cried out to many times,
And it’s your actions that are really dropping the dimes.

So to conceal the lies that you create,
You make up new ones that you can’t keep straight.

Sooner or later it’s going to come to a head,
And you won’t be able to remember all the things you said.

So be aware of what you produce,
Or I will come after you to drink your juice.
