Cynthia BuhainBaello - Learning (Couplets)

2014-06-16 5

Cursing words often used randomly to express
Nothing of poetic substance, no meaning there to address
The same boring words in ten poems shows the score
Is as empty and as hollow, as the poems read before.
Growth can never sprout from unplowed barren soil
And beauty is never formed without diligence and toil
Each day is a golden chance to nurture one's vocabulary
For learning is a lifetime effort in this art of poetry.
