He says its foolish
And I say its wise
He says your being clever
I say your not being nice
He says this is black
But I counter that its white
He says your always bickering
I say, you start the fight.
He says its astonishing
When I say its matter of fact
He says its so convincing
When I think its just an act.
He says it should be done like this
While I want it done like that
Somehow we don’t really know
Where it started and where we’re at.
Too different are we it seems
Right from our heads to our toes
So confusing it is to me though
I’m not sure whether we’re friends or foes.
They say that opposites attract
Since they say it, it must be true
For its beyond all logical reasoning,
Why I still put up with you.
