Dancing on steel strings
Where other's have danced before
I can't help feel something
in their movement, or fingers; more
What feeling was in his heart
When he slid that note
the sounds hang like birds in the air
Connected but apart
Such a short life
understated mastery and art
but of his very soul
seem he shared a part
My fingers much older then his
try to dance on steel stings
retracing his haunting steps
something lingers in what rings
