Climbers search for the missing poet
So youthful, talented and full of life
Last seen exploring a volcano's slippery slope
Compelled by it's natural beauty, capriciousness and it's hope
The moment before he slipped he was likely alive and giving thanks
Suddenly down the volcano's crater banks... he likely felt no pain
While the search goes deeper down it should look higher
That's where his soul will be felt and found; Not in vain
Because a poet searches Up not down
In the quiet moments of solitude, when nobody else is around
People struggle with earthly things
But the poet seeks for higher, more hallowed ground
Higher....that's where his soul can be found.
