I read reports in news
Very tragic and heart felt glimpses
Whole of country is tense
Nature has its course with no sense
Entire hilly area has caved
River waters have roughly behaved
Enormous destruction everywhere
In man and material here and there
How many might have gone missing?
There is no immediate help for tracing
People receive little help of any kind
Aid is rotting in camp even and can be noticed by blind
Never in history has such thing happened
Taken heavy toll and misery has sharpened
People have no where to go and take shelter
The situation has turned horrible and altered
In another situation rivers have flooded
In a state called Assam and people have marooned
Million turn homeless in fiery of rivers
Not enough of help to provide basic needs with cover
It is not man made disaster
But certain caused by our planners
Not taken enough of consideration
While taking big projects in relation
Natural river waterway is blocked
So entire area is submerged and soaked
One you control nature and suffer another way
Tat is how nature is paying us back in different way
